Under Control is about a married woman with a haunted past: she used to be a drug addict. She keeps her constant struggle hidden from her current husband.
I was commissioned to design key art and type treatments for Netflix’s Arabic titles in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. This involved creating title cards, title treatments, and both horizontal and vertical artwork. The challenge was that no context or genre information was provided for the shows. However, my linguistic and cultural familiarity with the Middle East helped me successfully steer the creative direction. Below is an example from one of the shows featuring the renowned actress Nelly Karim.
